Employees and/or contractors of Google, Facebook, Twitter, and Microsoft frequently remove doctors’ advice and medical information, simply because it is supported by the President. This is unacceptable at any time, but it is especially horrific when done during an emergency and when it interferes with life-saving treatments.
One example is the unholy war on HCQ. $GOOG started it by scrubbing the most influential documents on HCQ-based treatments from the web:
- a white paper by James Todaro, MD, and Gregory Rigano (GDrive)
- a conference presentation by Dr. Didier Raoult (youtube)
- a video presentation by Dr. Zev Zelenko (youtube)
These documents were posted from March 13 to March 22, and deleted by $GOOG by the end of March. $TWTR happily joined the purge.
Later, Yale epidemiologist Prof. Harvey Risch wrote: “The Key to Defeating COVID-19 Already Exists. We Need to Start Using It.” Many other doctors and researchers expressed similar ideas, but Big Tech continued to block, delete, and downrank them.
Instead of respecting the opinion of numerous doctors and credentialed researchers, Big Tech elevated FDA’s bureaucratic writings signed by the FDA “Chief Scientist” Denise Hinton, M.Sc. The FDA is the Food and Drug Administration for a reason. It is neither a medical authority, nor licensed to practice medicine. It regulates drug manufacturers and distributors. The only reason the FDA entered the HCQ debate was to authorize the release of HCQ from the National Strategic Stockpile. However, Big Tech and Fake News Media transformed a few FDA write-ups on the subject from ordinary bureaucratic correspondence into authoritative medical advice. Everyone, from experienced physicians and seasoned researchers to the Secretary of Health, suddenly had to justify themselves for disagreeing with the FDA. Some of the pieces most cited in this debate are unsigned posts on the FDA website, apparently written by the website editors.
HCQ is not the only issue. From the start, Big Tech has been advocating against all effective treatment and prophylaxis, while fear mongering, discouraging in-person social contacts, and aiding unconstitutional non-emergency lockdowns.
