El Nino Signal Weakening

Sea surface temperatures in the central-eastern Pacific Nino 3.4 region were +0.6°C above average last week, down from +0.7°C the prior week. Further east off the coast of Peru in Nino 1+2 region, surface temperatures were -0.3°C below the seasonal average, the lowest since Nov. Wind speeds and sub-surface temperatures all point to broadly neutral ENSO conditions.
