On this date in 1913, Greenland Ranch, California reached 134 degrees – the hottest temperature ever recorded.

mwr-050-01-0010.pdf

Unlike the vast majority of the thermometers used by Steven Mosher and Berkeley Earth to generate their fake global temperature graph, this measurement was taken using very high quality equipment and standard methodology.

Greenhouse gases were extremely low concentration at that location. CO2 was only 300 PPM, and the most important greenhouse gas, H2O, was also at very low concentrations on that date.

Climatologists claim that hot weather is associated with high levels of greenhouse gases, but there is zero evidence to back up this wildly fraudulent claim.

Satellite battle: Five reasons UAH is different (better) to the RSS global temperature estimates

Satellite battle: Five reasons UAH is different (better) to the RSS global temperature estimates

And so the adjustments war ramps up a notch.

There are two main groups that use essentially the same NASA and NOAA satellites to estimate global temperatures. In the last year, they’ve both made adjustments, one down, and one up, getting further apart in their estimates. In ClimateWorld this is a big deal. Believers are excited that now a satellite set agrees a bit better with the maligned “hot” surface thermometers. But UAH still agrees more with millions of weather balloons. The debate continues. Here’s my short synopsis of the  Roy Spencer (and John Christy) from the “Comments on the new RSS lower tropospheric temperature set.” (If something is wrong here, blame me).

The Bottom Line:

1. Both data-sets show far less warming than what climate models estimate.  UAH shows +0.12 C/decade, the new RSS trend is up to +0.17 C/decade. But climate models estimate  +0.27 C/decade in the lower troposphere.

2. The headline suggesting that the RSS revisions found “140% faster warming since 1998” is the usual hype.  The warming trend was tiny to start with. The headlines didn’t tell us that RSS is now warming a few hundreds of a degree per decade faster, […]

How Fake News Media Bluffs on Climate Change

How Fake News Media Bluffs on Climate Change

via Climate Realism against Alarmism

Examples of the fakestream media bluff on climate change, headlines:

Did Michael Gove really try to stop teaching climate change? (BBC, June 12, 2017)

Merkel Issues Warning to Trump Ahead of G20 Summit (NY Times, June 29, 2017) – were we supposed to be afraid?

World Leaders Move Forward on Climate Change, Without U.S. (NY Times, July 8, 2017) – EU leaders twitch and jerk

Merkel before G20: Paris accord irreversible, not negotiable (WaPo, June 29, 2017)

At G-20 summit, it looks more and more like Trump against the world (WaPo, July 5, 2017) – this is what the fakestream media tries to achieve, not without some success.

And from the “Americans are stupid as sh*t” department.  These fake news and non-news pieces are oozing contempt to ordinary people:

Climate change could lower the quality of your coffee (CNN, June 21, 2017)

CLIMATE CHANGE IS COMING FOR YOUR COFFEE (Wired, October 2016)

Climate change set to worsen inequality in US if greenhouse gases aren’t reduced (The Guardian, June 29, 2017).

How climate scepticism turned into something more dangerous (The Guardian, July 7, 2017).  From the article:

“Not all climate sceptics are part of the “alt-right”. But everyone in the alt-right is now a climate sceptic.”

“Climate change is the defining political issue of our times …”

These politicians [the ‘Atari Democrats’] saw climate as a useful issue, as well as an urgent one. It was a way of appealing to moderate Republican voters, because the concerns it raised cut across party lines. In the words of another member of the group, Chuck Schumer, then a Brooklyn congressman, now Senate minority leader: “If you’re a Democrat, especially in a middle-class district or on the west coast, [climate] is a great issue … It is an issue with no downside.” – a rare glimpse of truth in The Guardian coverage.  But even within it, The Guardian is wrong on Al Gore.  His maniacal obsession with global warming / climate change was genuine.

Secret G20 Draft Declaration Revealed :-)

Secret G20 Draft Declaration Revealed 🙂

via The Global Warming Policy Forum (GWPF)
http://www.thegwpf.com

The Australian this morning exclusively reveals an early draft of the leaders’ declaration from the weekend’s G20 summit:

“We, the leaders of the G20 (and thousands of hangers-on), met in Hamburg, Germany, on July 7-8, at cost to taxpayers of hundreds of millions of euros.

“We remain amazed and grateful that the world’s media continues to cover this luxurious circus, unrivalled in production of inanities, year after year. We, as the world’s premier body for economic discussion, are proud of our record in lifting waffle to levels of sophistication unimaginable in an earlier era.

“The media and the political class can achieve more together than by acting alone.

“We once again met at a time of profound change amid sustained continuity. We are determined to calibrate and co-ordinate our policy frameworks to foster economic growth that is confident, strong and nice. Growth has been too wonky and lopsided, with an insufficient level of sharing.

“We undertake to consult often, widely and effectively, via landline and mobile telephone, Facebook messenger, WeChat (in China), including through use of GIFs where appropriate.

“We have come together as one to make totally unverifiable undertakings in support of three appealing nouns that we agreed at last year’s Hangzhou summit in China: resilience, sustainability, and fun. In the interests of avoiding international awkwardness we have resolved never to raise, discuss or even allude to the rationale for, or outcome of, the British general election earlier this year in front of the British Prime Minister Theresa May.

“We acknowledge that Ivanka is amazing. She is so amazing. She is absolutely terrific. We also fully support the aspirations of women and girls and applaud in particular Saudi Arabia’s undertaking to make women’s issues the centrepiece of its summit in 2020.

“We condemn actions by North Korea that risk impairing global harmony. Sad!

“We have secured the services of distinguished diplomat Hans Blix, who will spearhead a cross-country delegation charged with conveying our sentiments to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. We indicate in the strongest terms our determination to defend western, eastern, southern and northern values.

“We extend an invitation to South Australia’s Premier Jay Weatherill, and his 17 media advisers, to update the G20 on the success of his government’s bold climate saving initiatives at the 2018 summit in Buenos Aires, where, inspired by practice at APEC, we will dress up as lithium batteries for an official photograph to signal our support.

“We acknowledge differences of opinion among members on the efficacy of the Paris Agreement on climate change, and now strenuously undertake to limit global temperature increase to no more than 2.16 degrees Celsius by 2104…

“As part of our new Partnership with Africa we urge Africa to consider new ways to be less poor as part of our global efforts to reduce terrorism and the flow of refugees into G20 countries.

“We also welcome establishment of the Kleptomania Mitigation Taskforce, which will examine innovative ways to curb inappropriate use of foreign aid, to be spearheaded by Rwanda and Congo as part of the African Union’s Agenda 2063.
