28 May 2017 – Two days of falling snow in Potosí punished those in high elevations, leaving several houses isolated.
Snow in the southwest of the department accumulated up to 30 cm (12 inches) in ravines and up to 15 in flat places.
Although some roads were covered with snow, the snowfall did not cause undue problems because residents had been warned and had stored fodder for the animals,
