But I have my doubts. It looks to me like that probably occurred a day earlier, on July 28, when other stations in the region recorded over 110F.
That heatwave peaked on July 28, not July 29.
Detroit Lakes hasn’t had a day over 105 degrees since 1936, when they had three.
Summer heat in Minnesota plummeted after the 1930’s, with this summer being one of the coolest on record so far.
If Minnesota started having heat again like they did in the 1930’s, experts would be 100% certain it was due to CO2 – and would demand immediate world communism to fix it.
