On January 6, 2018 there was no wind and Arctic cold across most of the US. People needed electricity to stay alive.
The Republicans’ solution was to use clean, reliable fossil fuels.
The Democrats’ solution was motionless windmills, producing exactly zero megawatts of electricity. They believed this was necessary to stop global warming and prevent future cold snaps caused by excess heat.
