Last week, the new truck industry enlisted the New York Times in its bid to stop the Trump repeal of the Obama rule.

Bogus controversy has been generated over a Tennessee Tech University (TTU) study commissioned by Fitzgerald Glider Kits to test glider truck emissions. It appears that TTU-affiliated environmental activists, unhappy with the test results, pressured the principal investigator to accuse himself (you read that right) of scientific misconduct. JunkScience.com has learned that Jed Mandel of the Engine Manufacturers Association is meeting with the EPA Inspector General’s Office on March 2 in order to request an IG investigation of the ongoing repeal of the glider truck rule — because it’s illegal to change whatever the Obama EPA did?
