Here’s a map from NOAA showing comparative temperatures on our planet as of January 2018.
All of the red and pink make it appear that our planet is practically burning up. Right? Right?
But wait a minute. Where is all of that heat located?
It’s apparently not at the top or bottom of the globe, because according to this map, both the top and the bottom of the globe (including all of Antarctica) are cooler than average.
Doesn’t look like there’s much of a problem in Africa either. Most of that huge continent is enjoying near average, or even cooler than average temperatures.
What about Russia? Oops. The temperature in most of Russia remains near average, or cooler than average, or even much cooler than average.
So where is that nefarious heat hiding?
It’s hiding in the oceans.
.
Take a closer look at the map.
Temperatures are warmer than average, or much warmer than average, even record warmest, across most of the North Atlantic Ocean.
Temperatures are warmer than average, or much warmer than average, even record warmest, across most of the South Atlantic Ocean.
Temperatures are warmer than average, or much warmer than average, even record warmest, across a great preponderance of the North Pacific Ocean.
Temperatures are warmer than average, or much warmer than average, even record warmest, across large parts of the South Pacific Ocean, especially near Australia.
Temperatures are warmer than average, or much warmer than average, across almost all of the Arabian Sea.
Temperatures are warmer than average, or much warmer than average, even record warmest, across a great preponderance of the Indian Ocean.
I simply do not understand how humans can be heating the seas while temperatures across large portions of the continents remain near average, or even cooler than average.
No, I’ll stick with the same solution that I’ve been proposing for years. I see no other explanation than that the seas are being heated by underwater volcanoes.
