…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 AM FRIDAY.
…WINTER STORM WATCH FROM FRIDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING.

Two different winter weather events are expected. The first will bring a band of 2 to 5 inches of snow along a line from Cooperstown to Fargo Moorhead to Wadena. This band may shift a little further north or south too.

For the second event, blizzard conditions are possible. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph could cause whiteout conditions in blowing snow. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches are possible.

Plan on slippery roads, including during the morning commute on Friday. Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
