Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning Sunday for many parts of Nova Scotia. In their 11 a.m. update, they said the snow should start falling early afternoon and be heavy at times throughout the day.
The Halifax area is expected to get 10 to 20 centimetres before it tapers off overnight
Snowfall warnings have also been issued along the Eastern Shore, parts of Colchester County, in Pictou and Antigonish counties and Cape Breton. In some areas, up to 12 inches (30 cm) snow could fall.
Poor driving conditions could be a factor with blowing snow over exposed areas and reduced visibility.
