More frost expected from Texas Panhandle to Kansas – in late April!

…FROST ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 7 AM CDT THURSDAY…

The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a Frost Advisory, which is in effect from 4 AM to 7 AM CDT Thursday.

Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid 30s around sunrise, both Thursday and Friday mornings. With our recent rainfall, this will allow areas of frost to form on exposed objects for several hours each morning.

* Temperatures…Lows in the mid 30s.

* Impacts…The frost will kill sensitive outdoor plants.
