The good news is that I am developing a new piece of software which will allow people to instantly visualize historical daily temperatures at any (or all) GHCN station(s) using a web browser. It all runs on the GPU, so is as fast and responsive as a high end video game.
The bad news is the technology (which I developed for completely different reasons) belongs to the company I am working for, and I don’t know how long it will be before it is available to the public.
