DEFRA have now published the latest annual report on air pollutants, with data now up to 2016.
Here are the key charts:
Apart from ammonia, which has increased because of agriculture, all other categories show continuing decline.
In particular, NOx emissions are now well below the Gothenberg 2010-19 target, and only slightly above the target for 2020.
The situation is similar for PMs.
