26 June 2018 – John Jack Lushman said there were roughly 5 cm of snow this morning on the deck of his cabin near Burgeo, N.L.
“I never seen it this late in June. I seen it in June but can’t remember it being this late and this much,” said Lushman.
Lushman planted flowers on Sunday, which are now buried in snow.

Sets new record
Environment Canada said the snowfall set a record for June 26 in Gander, N.L., where about 2 cm had fallen by mid-morning today. There no previous record of previous snowfall on this date.
The province’s Transportation Department is warning residents to drive cautiously.
