AGW alarmists vs AGW skeptics

The difference between Global Warming alarmists and Global Warming skeptics is a psychological difference.
The alarmists are people who seek answers and guidance from authority figures, and they believe that the government and the media will always tell them the truth. The skeptics are independent-minded critical thinkers, who do their own research, and do not trust authorities in the government and the media to tell them the truth.
In order to get the alarmists to become critical thinkers, you actually have to destroy their faith in the government and the corporate media. That task is nearly impossible, because the alarmists don’t understand what constitutes evidence, they don’t understand science, and they will always defer to authority figures.
