In Gilbert, Minnesota, the birds have been eating fermented berries and getting “typsy.” The fermentation is the result of early frosts, say police.

According to Gilbert police, drunk birds have been reported “flying into windows, cars and acting confused.”

Police say there’s no need to call law enforcement about the birds unless you see any of the circumstances listed in their press release (below).
