Snow causes chaos for trains
(Schnee sorgt für Chaos auf den Bündner Schienen)
“The snow is heavy like concrete. We can not go to the house anymore – but we have enough to eat, “writes one reader…. The onset of winter also causes chaos on the rails. Between Chur and Thusis the trains are canceled. And also the Albula line from Thusis to St. Moritz is interrupted. There are no train replacement buses on this route.
The route between St. Moritz and Scuol is also interrupted. The Bernina Express trains are also canceled due to the many snowfalls.
