With temperatures running as much as 30 degrees below normal, Providence, RI; Buffalo, NY, Rochester, NY; Hartford, CT; and Bangor, ME, are just a sample of cities that experienced their coldest Thanksgiving on record.
In New Hampshire, the mercury on the summit of Mt Washington plunged to the lowest temperature ever recorded on the mountain during the entire month of November.
Many other locations set low temperature records for the date.
