14 Dec 2018 – Due to heavy snowfall in the eastern Anatolian region, 186 villages and neighborhoods were disconnected from the centers, 83 districts in Erzurum were disconnected from the centers.
Forty village roads in Ağrı, 32 in Erzincan, 18 in Iğdır, 10 in Kars and 3 village roads in Muş were closed by snow.
Snow depth measured 64 cm (25 inches) at the Sarıkamış Ski Center, 63 cm in the Palandöken Ski Center, and 41 cm in the Konaklı Ski Center.
Ardahan lake district last night was the coldest settlement in Turkey with 24.5 degrees below zero.
Citizens had a hard time in Göle, where thermometers showed 24, 5 degrees below zero last night. The temperatures last night were -18 in Ardahan, -10 in Erzurum and Ağrı, -9 in Kars, -3 in Erzincan, -2 in Muş and -1 in Iğdır.
