Extreme cold, snow continue across eastern Ontario

20 Jan 2019 – In Ottawa, the temperature will only rise slightly to a high of –16 C, which will feel like –25 in the afternoon, with another seven to 12 cm of snow expected.

Due to numerous crashes, Ontario Provincial Police are warning drivers to stay off Highway 401 and other highways across the region.

A number of flights are cancelled at the Macdonald–Cartier International Airport.
