The president tweeted on Monday “In the beautiful Midwest, windchill temperatures are reaching minus 60 degrees, the coldest ever recorded. In coming days, expected to get even colder. Young Trevor and the NOAA brain-trust are correct about one thing… The polar vortex does not disprove the global warming that has been occurring since the coldest temperatures of the Holocene: The Little Ice Age (LIA).

In Central Greenland, one of Gorebal Warming’s many canaries in the coal mine, The LIA was just about as cold as the final Pleistocene glacial interstadial.
