New York January Temperature Statistics

New York state averages a range of 87 degrees between their lowest and highest January temperature each year, with a peak swing of 103 degrees during January 1935.

On January 5 1935, Indian Lakes reached -18F, and two days later Angelica reached 67F. A swing of 85 degrees in 48 hours.

1950 was a fairly typical year, with large temperature swings every few days.
