More snow for Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa

Winter (as in WINTER!) storm watch from Saturday morning into Saturday evening.

Late Season Winter Storm Could Impact Travel Saturday
National Weather Service La Crosse WI Apr 26 2019

A band of heavy snow could potentially produce 4 to 9 inches of snow. Hourly snow rates could be in the 1 to 2 inch per hour range at times.  Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.

If this occurs, a slushy snow accumulation would make travel very difficult.

Confidence is high on the timing, but the exact locations and snowfall amounts may change.

* WHERE…Portions of southwest and west central Wisconsin, northeast Iowa, and southeast Minnesota.

Including the cities of Osage, Cresco, Decorah, Waukon, Charles City, New Hampton, Oelwein, Elkader, Wabasha, Dodge Center, Rochester, Winona, Austin, Preston, Caledonia, La Crosse, Viroqua, Prairie Du Chien, Richland Center, and Platteville

“Doesn’t sound like global warming to me!” says Kenneth. Yet they keep claiming it’s the hottest period in world history!”

“I have a hard time finding tropical palm trees in Montana and Wisconsin!”

And snow was supposed to be a thing of the past long by now with coastlines under 5 feet of water!”
