According to the National Weather Service, O’Hare International Airport, the official reporting station for the city of Chicago, received 2.5 inches of snow on Saturday, setting an all-time record for snowfall this late in the spring.
The previous record was set in 1910, when Chicago received 2 inches of snow on April 26.
