MORE LATE SEASON SNOW IN THE MOUNTAINS OF VENTURA AND LOS
ANGELES COUNTIES…

Another unusual late season storm will bring periods of snow and gusty winds to the mountains of Ventura and Los Angeles Counties Sunday through late Sunday night. Snow levels will fall to 6000 to 6500 feet on Sunday, then drop further to 4500 to 5500 feet Sunday night… Snow and gusty winds will create hazardous driving conditions at times.

Ventura County Mountains-Los Angeles County Mountains excluding the Santa Monica Range-Including the cities of Lockwood Valley, Mount Pinos, Acton, Mount Wilson, and Sandberg

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FROM 6 AM SUNDAY TO 3 AM MONDAY

Snow and gusty south to west winds. Total snow accumulations up to 1 inch below 5500 feet, 2 to 4 inches between 6000 and 6500 feet, and 3 to 6 inches with local higher
amounts above 6500 feet.

Plan on slippery road conditions. Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times due to snow and blowing snow, and use caution while driving. Keep an emergency kit in your vehicle which includes a flashlight, food and water, extra clothes and blankets, and tire chains.
