US Summers Used To Be Much Hotter

During the summer of 1936 (June-August) the US Midwest was over 90F every day except one, over 100F on 66 days, over 110F on 23 days, and over 115F on two days. Weather this hot is completely incomprehensible now, and if it did happen, climate scientists would say they are 100% certain it was due to elevated levels of CO2.
