Letter Re Climate Assembly

By Paul Homewood

I have sent this letter in to the Telegraph, regarding the new Climate Assembly.

Can I suggest that we organise a mass letter writing exercise to all newspapers, either using this as a template or your own ideas?

Let’s see if we can get some leverage with the weight of numbers!

Dear Sir

The newly launched Climate Assembly is not as representative as claimed. Its participants are drawn from members of the public who have volunteered their services, and as such are likely to be skewed towards eco-activists.

If Parliament really wants the public’s views, I suggest they organise a referendum, which should be preceded by the publication of the truly horrific costs of the proposals in store for us all.

By the way, I saw Caroline Lucas eulogising about the Assembly yesterday. I think we can reliably assume that, if she thinks it is a good idea, it will be bad news for the rest of us!

via NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE KNOW THAT
