Snowy abundance in Siberia

Far more than the usual amounts.

Typically, winters in Siberia are frosty and light snowy.

In Salekhard, the snow norm of January is 38 cm, but in fact lies 60 cm!

In Turukhansk, at the end of January, the snow cover rarely reaches 90 cm, while monitoring currently marks 110 cm.

The leader in snow, not only in Siberia, but throughout Russia is Kuzbass. At the Central Mine weather station, the height of the snow cover of 175 cm is an unattainable beacon even for the snowy slopes of the volcanoes of Kamchatka.

Meanwhile, there is comparative snowlessness in Central Russia.
