Shatters previous record set in 1936.
More than 300 flights were delayed and roughly 13 canceled at Salt Lake City airport after a yesterday’s winter storm rolled through Utah.
The 8.6 inches of snow that fell at the airport shattered the old record of seven inches set in 1936, according to the National Weather Service.
