New York Holocaust
Over the past month I have established a number of key hospital contacts, including ICU nurses here in Nebraska and a hospital medical researcher in Phoenix, and indirectly to medical workers in Memphis, Tennessee. I have learned some very disturbing information about what is going on in the US.
First, hospital activity and emergency room activity in Nebraska, Phoenix and Memphis is at an all-time record low. The spike in COVID deaths a few days ago in the US was due to almost entirely to New York City hospitals.
ICU nurses have social media networks around the country. I have seen texts from nurses in New York who say “all the old people are dying” “There are refrigerated trucks lined up to take the bodies away, probably to be incinerated” “It is like the Holocaust.” My Jewish parents were from Brooklyn and Queens, so seeing nurses there describing hospital conditions as being like a Holocaust, is particularly disturbing for me.
And most disturbing of all is that New York City nurses say they are being forced to work without any protection. The city tells them they are out masks. This guarantees that everyone in the hospital gets infected, which is a death sentence for essentially all the old people in the hospital.
Furthermore, US nurses around the country are being exposed to risk which nurses in other countries aren’t. This is due to a CDC ruling that the virus is not airborne – so US emergency room nurses are frequently limited to a minimal mask and goggles, which is not adequate protection if the patient is coughing or sneezing. Nurses in other countries are much better protected.
One other piece of disturbing information is this graph which someone sent me on twitter. I haven’t verified its accuracy, but if it is correct it shows that essentially all pneumonia deaths are being counted as COVID-19 deaths.
I will let you draw your own conclusions about what is going on with CDC and New York, but the facts on the ground don’t look good.
