Snowiest winter on record. Not just for the day, not just for the month, but the entire winter.
According to the National Weather Service, it is officially Boulder’s snowiest winter on record.
With at least 10.5 inches (or perhaps slightly more) from Thursday’s storm, Boulder is now up to 145 inches so far this winter, surpassing the winter of 1908-09 for the snowiest winter on record in the city.
I say “perhaps,” because the National Weather Service in Boulder reported the 10.5 inch snow total on Thursday morning, which left the entire day to pick up a little more.
