One of the things I have never claimed to be is a statistician, (having bunked off most lessons at college as they were on a Friday afternoon!)
However I have been sent this article, which takes a long hard look at recent flooding in the UK. It employs some useful statistics, as well as critically examining the role played by the Environment Agency.
The article appears in ORA-CLE, the trade journal for the Original Recycling Association, and was written by its Director, Chris Williamson.
