Astrophysicist arrested at anti-lockdown demonstration in London – Video

Global warming skeptic Piers Corbyn was arrested for exercising his right of free speech about coronavirus.

Piers, an astrophysicist, was among 19 people arrested at an anti-lockdown demonstration in London.

The arrest took place in London’s Hyde Park on Saturday afternoon, where hundreds of people gathered to object to their rights of free speech and movement being curtailed. Some were holding several placards and banners including slogans like “freedom over fear”.

I was lucky enough to meet Piers in person several years ago when visiting London. He invited my wife and I to dinner at his home, and we enjoyed it tremendously. Also in attendance were Piers’ wife, retired chemist Hans Schreuder, his wife, and an astrophysicist from Russia. It was the most stimulating evening we have ever enjoyed.
