The BBC has just broadcast this video with the thoughts of four members of the Climate Assembly:
It emphatically shows not only how devoid of ideas they all are, but also how none of them have the slightest idea of what really is involved in getting to Net Zero.
I have summarised their conversations:
Girl 1 – I think we should buy British where possible.
Buy quality clothes that last longer.
Work from home if possible.
Man 1 – Eat less meat and concentrate on better cuts – (what does he suggest butchers do with the rest?)
Girl 2 – I have a Ford Mustang, which I will not give up.
Turn central heating down and make kids wear jumpers.
Man 4 – I am thinking about an EV, but I live in a flat so I cannot charge it up.
And that’s just about it!!
Nowhere is there any mention that the UK only emits 1% of the world’s CO2, and that the rest of the world is busy increasing emissions, at least until this year. They obviously must have been brainwashed by the lies of their indoctrinators, such as Joanna Haigh, who assured them that China was busy shutting down its coal power plants.
Nowhere is there any understanding that fiddling around the edges, as this lot is proposing, will not make the slightest difference.
Nowhere is there any recognition that to get to Net Zero will make our current lifestyles unrecognisable.
Forget about new clothes of any description. Forget about any kind of private transport. Forget about heating your house at all. Forget about any imported goods whatsoever. And be prepared to eat whatever food you can get your hands on, meat or not.
This is the stark reality of what faces our descendants in 2050.

And it’s really important that the government hears the voice of the people.
Yes, it is important. But that voice won’t be heard from a panel of 110 volunteers who have been brainwashed to applaud whatever the government has tells them.
