Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains-
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO NOON MDT SUNDAY…
* WHAT…Periods of snow expected above 6500 feet. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches. Heavier amounts possible on highest peaks.
* WHERE…Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains.
* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult at times, including the Beartooth Pass vicinity. Recreation activities will be affected by wet snow, freezing temperatures and poor visibility at times.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The heaviest accumulations of snow are expected above 6500 feet on north facing slopes.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
Travel and recreation activities may be difficult. Expect freezing temperatures with snow covered roads and limited visibility at times.
