I haven’t been here much lately but you would think I would have more time to look up this sort of thing online, being stuck at home all day and not being able to go to the pub in the evenings. Paradoxically the opposite is the case and maybe I degenerated into depression along with everyone else.
I said as early as lockdowns were 1st discussed that there is a serious risk of rioting and my reason is this:
In China people treat their Government like they are God but it is a lot different in America where people believe in Freedom and Liberty, God and Jesus, Mom and Pop stores etc. In fact I am surprised America as a whole has not simply disobeyed any instruction to stay at home, simply carried on normal life regardless. House arrest seemed to me a tool very much expected in Communist China and North Korea. But definitely not in America and Britain.
I am at a loss to explain it.
