The US is quite reasonable with fining only 20 dollars per person. Here in Europe governments are fining the hell out of their citizens.
For instance in Holland the official fine for not keeping a distance of 1.5 meters (5 ft) is US dollars 500 (US$500). This although it’s against the Dutch Bill of Rights, and the legal basis of the governmental decrees is lacking .
Kafka and George Orwell are tiny story-tellers in comparison with the governmental brutality people in Europe are experiencing. Hitler was only a little precursor of the slavery unfolding under our very eyes .
