A “significant” threat level for people’s usual activities.
19 Aug 2020 -Strong drops in temperatures and snowfall for Chuquisaca, Chaco de Tarija, Santa Cruz and Beni between Friday and Sunday, according to the National Meteorology and Hydrology Service (Senamhi).

“A sharp drop in temperatures of 9 to 15 degrees is forecast, mainly in the Chaco regions of Tarija, Santa Cruz, Beni and Chuquisaca,” explains an alert issued by Senamhi.
Snowfall is also expected in the valleys of Tarija, Chuquisaca and Santa Cruz, from Friday to Sunday.
The Senamhi also issued a warning for strong winds between 40 and 60m per hour in the highland region of the country (Oruro, Potosí and La Paz) from Wednesday until Friday. In both alerts, it indicates that there is a “significant” threat level for people’s usual activities, so it recommends taking precautions.
