A month into the flu season, and NO cases of the flu. Zero. That’s the number of flu cases in Alberta one month into what’s usually the flu season. That’s compared to 139 at this time last year.
Last year Alberta saw 8,471 confirmed flu cases and 41 deaths, according to this video.
This year, Covid has infected almost 41,000 Albertans and killed 434.
There are only 17 confirmed flu cases across all of Canada right now. At this time last year there were 711.
Covid is more dangerous than flu, the video concludes.
