How often have we been told on the TV that winters are "getting wetter" with more extreme rainfall causing flooding. This article provides the facts:

What the figures and graphs show is that the weather varies by a large amount form year to year, but when you look at the average taken over a thirty year period in place after place you can see that there is no change. The facts simply do not support the propaganda. Unfortunately not a lot of people know that, because the facts are suppressed.
