After injecting their students last year, Orange County Public Schools is requiring Electrocardiograms for their student athletes.

“NEW for the 2021-22 school year, electrocardiogram (ECG) screenings are REQUIRED for high school students wishing to participate in athletic programs. ECG screenings help identify athletes who are at risk for sudden cardiac arrest”

I can’t remember hearing of a single instance of sudden cardiac arrest when I participated in high school and college athletics  during the 1970s.
