Climate Fact Check: December 2023

Soaring heat across the globe in 2023 suggests a possible acceleration in the effects of human-induced climate change. – Washington Post

They preached about CO2-induced climate change being a long term process and dismissed 6 to 18-year pauses as short-term variations. Yet, conveniently labeling the substantial spike in 2023 as an acceleration of human-induced climate change reeks of hypocrisy, enforcing a narrative while playing fast and loose with the facts. The same goes for those who claim the Monckton pause is definitely over due to this. While supposedly guided by logic, they conveniently ignore the logical expectation that it should, in fact, drop back down.
