David Turver has uncovered corruption at the highest level:
At the top of the pyramid is our old friend Baroness Brown, who chairs the Lords Science and Technology Committee.
She just happens to be non-executive director of Ceres Power Holdings which describes itself as a leading developer of “electrolysis for the creation of green hydrogen and fuel cells for power generation”. Baroness Brown’s other interests include chairing the Carbon Trust and she is also a non-executive director of wind farm operator and developer Ørsted.
Then we have Professor Keith Bell who acted as Specialist Advisor to the committee, and is also a member of the CCC.
And then there’s Chris Stark, former CEO of the CCC, and now appointed by Ed Miliband as chief honcho at his Mission Control. All well and good, you might say. Except that Stark also works as the Baroness’ staffer.
