The Met Office is warning of the “strongest winds of the year” this week!

Given that we are only three weeks into the year, that is hardly remarkable!

No doubt the BBC will exaggerate the storm, and then blame it on global warming.

But the Met Office make this admission:

As real meteorologists know, it is the contrast between hot and cold that powers storms.
