Yet another Starmer lie is uncovered:

Sir Keir Starmer’s pledge that GB Energy will create 1,000 jobs at its Scottish headquarters could take two decades to deliver, the company’s boss has admitted.
Juergen Maier, whom Downing Street appointed as GB Energy’s start-up chairman, said the firm would create between 200 and 300 jobs in Aberdeen over the next five years.
He said it “absolutely” could take 20 years before 1,000 jobs, saying the pledge was “very long term” and depended on the firm developing into a “major energy champion”.
Speaking to Sky News, he also repeatedly refused to say when household bills would be cut. Sir Keir promised that GB Energy would save consumers as much as £300 each.
I suppose we all ought to be grateful, because these are all going to be non-jobs anyway, merely running a quango which is there only for window dressing purposes. It is taxpayers who would have picked up the tab for them.
GB Energy won’t actually produce any energy, and it certainly won’t be the “major energy champion” that Juergen Maier says it will develop into!
