After touting the hottest June day a day ago, is this really the best our laughable Met Office can come up with?
Given that the opening day of Wimbledon can fall anywhere over a two week period, cherry picking today is meaningless.
In 1976, for example, the championships began in June 21st.
The Met Office should dump this propaganda, and go back to what it is paid to do.
