25 May 2017 – The 207th anniversary of the May Revolution was celebrated throughout the country.

In the city of Ushuaia, the southernmost of the country, authorities held the event on May 25 with the entire plaza covered by snow. A strong snowstorm and wind forced many people to stay in their homes.

The first snowfall of the winter season covered the city of Ushuaia white with a snow accumulation of around 12 cm.
