Declining February 10 Temperatures In The US

February 10 temperatures have generally been declining in the US over the past century, and the frequency of warm February 10 days has declined. The larger pattern is a 50 year cycle which shows swings of about 15 degrees, Temperatures peaked in the 1950’s and 1990’s and bottomed in the 1930’s and around 1980.

Over the past 20 years, February 10 temperatures have declined about five degrees.

On this date in 1932, Texas was 94F, Georgia was 87F, Alabama and Florida were 86F, Louisiana and Mississippi were 85F, Arkansas and Oklahoma were 84F, Illinois was 83F and Indiana was 81F. If we had temperatures like that now, scientists would demand immediate world communism.
