D.C. doubles previous snowfall record

As of Wednesday afternoon, Dulles International Airport had reported 4.7 inches of snow, more than double the previous record for the date of 2.3 inches set in 1964,according to fox5dc.com.

However, by the end of the day that number has grown. An updated report from patch.com says Dulles Airport received 5.2 inches of snow.
