Sea ice extent maps can be extremely misleading. Climate alarmists believe the ice in the Eastern Arctic Basin is melting.

Reality is that the ice is being consolidated and compacted by the wind, which makes it more difficult to melt.
Sadly for team climate fraud, the winds have stopped, and now extent is hardly changing.
